Merlin is a patient who was identified by a volunteer participating in the Eli Lily brigade and was immediately enrolled in the Patient Referral Program. Merlin has bilateral strabismus, which, according to the doctor, will need to be corrected by surgery within a couple of years. In the meantime, he needs glasses to improve his vision at school, where he is an outstanding student with excellent grades.
