Steven was born with a congenital malformation from his heart, kidney and intestines. Since he was little, he’s been visiting various doctors and receiving all types of medications and surgeries.
Despite of his medical condition he looks like a healthy kid, he goes to school, does well in his classes, and plays a lot with his friends.

One of the medical conditions that bothers him the most is having an imperforate anus; therefore, a colostomy was needed in order for his fecal matter to come out. It’s been hard for his mom, and since they don’t have enough income to buy colostomy bags, they have been using t-shirts, towels or paper towel instead of using the colostomy bags.

Next Steps

We want to help Steven’s mom fundraise in order to buy these colostomy bags. Steven needs to have his colostomy bag changed every 2-3 days, so we are hoping to fundraise in order to provide at least 100 bags as well as adhesive and cleaning wipes to last Steven approximately one year.
