DIAGNOSTIC: Hysterocele Grade IV

Suyapa is a CHW, trained in 2017 in the community of El Espinito, San Matías. Due to her multiple pregnancies (9), and the heavy work she used to do at home, her uterus has descended to the degree that it comes out of her genital area, making her life difficult, with the risk of infections. This has also added the discomfort of even sitting down and performing daily activities.

She visited the local public hospital in order to obtain a place for surgery, but she has been on the waiting list for 3 years now.
