Petrona is an elderly patient who was identified during a home visit by the first group of Lily staff to our country. Due to her advanced age, she has been confined to bed for extended periods, which has resulted in the development of pressure ulcers on her back. In response to this, the healthcare team in collaboration with Lily Staff decided to purchase a pressure-relief mattress and an anti-reflux pillow to improve her comfort and prevent further complications related to immobility.
