We first met 13 year old Kelvin Ariel Sosa on a medical brigade in Los Terrones, El Paraíso in February of 2018. His vision problems became apparent at a young age when he faced difficulties at school performing certain tasks, such as reading and writing. He has been using glasses for a number of years, but his family cannot afford to buy him glasses every time he requires new ones. Therefore, we want to help him through the Patient Referral Program.

Next Steps

We would like to take him to the ophthalmologist for a check up and to get him a new pair of glasses.
