Edman is a 12-year-old patient who attended the brigade in the community of Santiago de Puringla, La Paz, hosted in collaboration with the University of South Florida Medical Chapter. During the event, our staff identified the need for a walker, as Edman can only walk with the support of his mother. We are grateful for the response of the volunteers from the University of South Florida Medical Chapter, who fundraised to purchase the walker for Edman and delivered it on the last day of their brigade.
