UPDATE

Thanks to your donation our patient Dunia Zepeda was able to travel all the way to Tegucigalpa. She was attended by our incredible optometrist Dr. Jose Luis Moncada and he was able to perform a vision exam. She was able to choose her favorite pair of frames which we will then send to a laboratory for her exact prescription. She will be receiving this pair of glasses in 7 days!

Dunia is a housewife with 3 children who live in the community of El Ocote, Cantarranas. She maintains her home by selling AVON items. She says that from the age of 10, she started with symptoms such as headaches and difficulty with near vision. Currently, she wears glasses that a relative lent her because due to her limited financial resources, she is unable to buy the ones she needs.

She was recently seen in one of our medical brigades in her community and through the consultation at the optometry station she was referred to have the possibility of raising the necessary funds for the glasses that will fit perfectly for her.
