Cristofer was able to get his hearing aids on July 2024, along with the spare batteries. He will continue to have follow up appointments once a month for the following year.

Cristofer is a 15-year-old patient who lives in the community of Suyate, Moroceli, and whose mother reported that she noticed her son’s difficulty in listening since he entered kindergarten and noticed the difficulty in learning. He had never had any type of exams performed due to lack of financial resources since he only lives with his mother and siblings and they could not pay for the exams. He was seen in one of our medical brigades in his community and referred to the referral program, to help this boy with all the desire to live to be a promise for the future. He has already had his hearing tests performed and funds are needed to purchase his hearing aids.
